KWARAPOLY 2014/2015 Post UTME Screening Dates

The authorities of the polytechnic has announced the date for the screening exercise and the
mode of testing.

According to the authorities of the Polytechnic, the
POST UTME Screening Exercise shall be a Computer
Based Test (CBT), commencing from Monday, 29th
September and will end on Sunday 5th October, 2014
at 11.5Opm.

•Note: THE TEST WILL HOLD ONLINE. CANDIDATES
WILL BE ALERTED THROUGH SMS ON THE DATES FOR
THEIR TESTS.

UNIUYO: Payment of Fees Procedures for 2014/2015 Session

In view of the cashless policy of the Central Bank of Nigeria, the University will no longer accept payment of fees by cash from students.
The new procedures for payment of fees are outlined below;
1. Obtain a Payment Slip bearing a Transaction ID and a Quickteller Code.
To do this,
a. Visit the University site: www.uniuyo.nucdb.edu.ng
b. Log in with your username and password on the left hand side of your homepage
c. Click to make payment under the make payment link on the student page
c. Update your student data properly
d. If entries are valid, there is a redirection to the e-payment service homepage. Read the instructions shown
e. Your fees are displayed to you for confirmation
f. Click the confirmation button on your bill/payment slip. (The payment Slip shows the transaction ID and the QuickTeller Code)
g. Print or note the Transaction ID and Quickteller Code and proceed to make payment.

2. To make payment
a. Visit www.quickteller.com
b. Log on to your account or create a new account
c. Select University of Uyo under the PAYCHOICE category
d. Select the Quickteller Code printed on your Payment Slip
e. Enter the Transaction ID (Printed on your Payment Slip)
f. Proceed to enter details of your ATM or Debit card
g. Click process payment
h. Print your Payment Receipt from the screen (a copy is sent to your e>mail)
i. Obtain the University receipt/acknowledgement from your Faculty Finance officer.

3. General Information
Every student should open an account with any commercial bank of his/her choice and obtain from the bank an ATM card. You must ensure your account is funded enough to pay the fees for the semester or session.
For students without ATM Card
1. Walk into any branch of First Bank nationwide

2. Request to get preloaded debit card (Cash Card)

3. The teller receives your cash and funds your debit card

4. Proceed to www.quickteller.com to complete your fees payment using Cash/Debit card
Effective date for payment is 2nd Semester 2013/2014 session.

iv) Ecobank Plc
b) With the PIN Code, candidates should access and complete the University of Uyo, 2014 Supplementary Form online at http://www.uniuyo.edu.ng. From the Students E-Portals Solutions’ Menu applying the following steps:
- Click on Supplementary admission Portal Link
- Log in with your UTME registration Number and PIN Code
- Fill the Supplementary admission form and upload a recent passport size photograph (scanned) with red background.
- Submit the online supplementary admission form and print out.
Note: (i) The same passport used for the online registration will be used during the screening and registration after offer of admission.
(ii) No complaint of wrong Bio-Data or blank picture will be entertained after submission.
(iii) Candidates who up-load wrong Bio-Data will be automatically disqualified.

Closing Date: Sunday, 28th September, 2014

UNIUYO: Screening of 2014 Direct Entry & UTME Candidates Who missed the 1st Screening


Candidates who applied to the University of Uyo as their 1st choice University for the 2014/2015 Direct Entry Admission as well as those candidates who duly
registered for the PUTME screening exercise but missed the test are hereby invited for screening exercise scheduled as follows:

Time: 8.00a.m

N/B: Candidates who missed the 1st choice screening should come with all the requirements as contained in our advertisement published in the Punch Newspaper
of Friday, July 11, 2014.

REQUIREMENTS FOR DIRECT ENTRY SCREENING
Eligible candidates are expected to possess a minimum number of five (5) credit passes in their SSCE or equivalent in the subjects relevant to the programmes of their 1st choice including English Language and Mathematics. They should in addition, have OND, NCE, HND, GCE A/L or a first Degree (not awaiting result).

METHOD OF APPLICATION FOR DIRECT ENTRY
(1) Eligible candidates should pay the sum of N2,000.00 (two thousand naira)only, and obtain a PIN Transaction Receipt which should contain a PIN code
at the following Banks nationwide.
1. UNIUYO Micro Finance Bank

3. Wema Bank Plc.
4. Ecobank Plc
(2) Note: The same PIN will be used to access the result of the Screening Test
from the internet. Candidates must provide their names and JAMB
registration numbers to the Bank during payment.
(3) With the PIN code, candidates should access and complete the University of
Uyo 2014 Direct Entry (D/E) Screening Test Form online at
http://www.uniuyo.edu.ng from the students E-Portals Solution Menu
applying the following steps:
- Click on Direct Entry Portal Link
- Log in with your Direct Entry registration Number and PIN code.
- Fill the Direct Entry form and upload a recent passport size photograph (scanned) with red background.
- Submit the online application form and print out a copy of the examination schedule slip.

(4) Note: (i) The same passport photograph used for the online registration will be used during the Screening Test and for registration in the Faculty after offer of admission.
(ii) No complaint of wrong bio-data or blank photograph will be entertained after submission.
(iii) Candidates who up-load wrong bio-data will be automatically disqualified.

(5) Candidates are also required to appear for the Direct Entry Screening Exercise with the following items:
(i) Four (4) copies of the University of Uyo 2014 Direct Entry ONLINE registration form duly completed with the passport-size photograph printed in colour.

(ii) 2014 Direct Entry Registration Slip.

(iii) Four (4) recent passport-size photograph on red background(same photograph as the one used for the on-line registration)with the name, Direct Entry registration number and signature of the candidate written on the reverse side of the photographs.

These should be packaged in quarto-size envelope and labeled with name, course, Department and JAMB registration number.

(iv) HB pencil, eraser and sharpener.
NOTE: No GSM handsets, calculators or any other extraneous materials should be brought into the Screening Hall.

Venue: The Screening Test will hold at the University of Uyo, Town Campus and Town Campus Annexe.

Closing Date: The closing date for registration is Sunday, 21st September, 2014

Note: Only candidates who comply with the registration procedures outlined
above will be allowed to undergo the Screening Exercise.

UNIJOS Application into 2014/2015 Pre-Degree programme


Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Pre-Degree Sciences Programme of the University of Jos for the 2014/2015 Academic Session

Candidates must possess WASC/SSCE/NECO/GCE ‘O’ Level or its equivalent with a minimum of five credits including English Language and Mathematics. Candidates with awaiting results will not be considered

Candidates must possess any combination of 5 credits from the following: Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Further Mathematics and Biology or Technical Drawing or Fine Arts.

The Pre-Degree Sciences course which is strictly for science students is mainly for students of the catchment states of Plateau, Nasarawa, Niger, Kwara, Benue and Kogi only.

Method of Application
Application forms are available online on the University’s website www.unijos.edu.ng after the payment of the sum of four thousand naira (N4,000.00) only.

Return of Completed application Forms
All completed application forms must be returned, on or before October 1, 2014 to the Registrar, University of Jos, P.M.B. 2084, Jos-Nigeria and should contain the following:

i. Certified copies of academic qualifications
ii. Two recent passport size photograph
iii. Indigene certificate
iv. Birth certificate or statutory declaration of age

Note:
The University does not provide accommodation for candidates offered admission into its Pre-Degree Science Programme

All Pre-Degree Science Students are also required to sit for JAMB UTME or any other prescribed examination and score a minimum National cut off point in order to be absorbed into the University of Jos degree programmes
