Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Pre-Degree Sciences Programme of the University of Jos for the 2014/2015 Academic Session

Candidates must possess WASC/SSCE/NECO/GCE ‘O’ Level or its equivalent with a minimum of five credits including English Language and Mathematics. Candidates with awaiting results will not be considered

Candidates must possess any combination of 5 credits from the following: Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Further Mathematics and Biology or Technical Drawing or Fine Arts.

The Pre-Degree Sciences course which is strictly for science students is mainly for students of the catchment states of Plateau, Nasarawa, Niger, Kwara, Benue and Kogi only.

UNIMAID: Admission into Remedial Programme for 2014/2015 Academic Session

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into Remedial Arts and Science programmes of the University of Maiduguri, UNIMAID

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS.

(a) The basic admission requirement is 5 credit in SSCE, GCE or NECO in not more than two sittings. The credits must include English and Mathematics and three other subjects relevant to chosen Remedial Programme (Arts or Science).

(e)General Conditions:
(i) Applicants from educationally disadvantaged Local Government Areas of Kwara State i.e. Edu, Baruten, Moro and Kaima may be considered for admission with three credits provided an F9 grade is not obtained in any of the five subjects. Such candidates must however redeem their ‘O’ level deficiencies latest by the end of their 100 level programme.
(ii) Candidates who want to study Engineering must obtain credit grades in Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics

DELSU Pre-Degree examination to start as scheduled

This is to inform all pre-degree students of the Delta State University (DELSU) Abraka that the dates of their examination is still as scheduled. The ongoing ASUU strike did not in anyway affect the examination date. The examination commences on the 26th of August and runs till 30th. The varsity therefore urges students to ignore any rumour stating that the time table for the examination has been adjusted.
