OOU Batch B Post-UTME Screening 2014/2015 - Detailed information


The Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye, will conduct the Batch B Post-UTME Screening for candidates who wish to be admitted into the University for 2014/2015 Academic year.

The screening shall be conducted from Monday 15th to Wednesday 17th September, 2014 at the Main Campus , Ago Iwoye.

ELIGIBILITY
The following shall be eligible for the screening:

1. UTME candidates that picked the University with a minimum score of 180 in the 2014/2015 UTME Results.

2. Candidates with ‘A’ Level Certificate or First Degree who had applied for Direct Entry Admission through JAMB into the University.

3. Candidates who possess Diploma certificate of the University and who had applied for Direct Entry admission through JAMB into the University.

4. Candidates with Diploma from other approved institutions with minimum of Upper Credit who had applied for Direct Entry admission into the University.

5. Candidates who did not pick the University but with a minimum score of 180 in the 2014/2015 UTME results.

The Post UTME screening excercise would be conducted through Computer Based test (CBT).

MODE OF REGISTRATION
1. Each eligible candidate for the screening will pay the sum of N1, 000.00 (One Thousand Naira) for the Screening and N5, 500.00 (Five Thousand Five Hundred Naira) for scratch card, processing and administrative charges through any of the following means:
i. Payment through any of the university Point of Sales (POS) on any of our campuses. (Ago-Iwoye, Ikenne, Sagamu, Ayetoro and Ibogun).
ii. ABEOKUTA – Ministry of Education, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta
iii. IJEBU-ODE – Olabisi Onabanjo University Guest House, Igbeba Ijebu-Ode.
iv. LAGOS – OPIC Plaza, Bank Anthony way, Ikeja, Lagos.

Payment should be made on or before Friday 8th of August, 2014 using their FULL NAMES (IN CAPITAL LETTERS) as it appears on the JAMB slip. Example: BALOGUN GARUBA CHINEDU (Surname first)

2. Candidates are to collect a scratch card (at no additional cost) at the point of payment.

3. Visit the University Registration Website: www.oouagoiwoye.edu.ng/putme and printout your Post-UTME examination slip after payment.

4. Each candidate should bring along the following to the venue of the screening: E-registration slip for UTME/DE 2014/2015 session, The Printout for the POST-UTME Registration form

Candidates are expected to arrive at the screening venue an hour before the commencement of the exercise. Candidates are advised to regularly check for further information on the examinations on the University website: www.oouagoiwoye.edu.ng

OOU Lifts Ban On Student Union Government


The management of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye has lifted the ban earlier placed on the Student Union Government with immediate effect while the institution remains closed.

The development follows the intervention of the State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, FCA as a result of entreaties made by the National Association of Nigerian Students (NAANS), South-West zone,well-meaning elders and other stakeholders on behalf of the Student Union Government.

The ban lift is to give room for further deliberations to resolve issues surrounding the closure of the school.

The SUG and the entire students are hereby enjoined to maintain peace while both parties explore dialogue to resolve the matter.

OOU releases 2013/2014 post UTME screening results

This is to inform all Prospective students of the Olabisi Onabanjo University, OOU that the institution has released the 2013/2014 post UTME screening results.
The result which can be accessed in the same page where registration was conducted is available for checking. To check your results, kindly visit www.oouagoiwoye.edu.ng/putme/page/check_result.php (if the link appears broken, simply copy and paste to the URL bar of your browser)
secondly, supply your JAMB registration number then click on check results.

ARMED Men kill two in OOU

TWO students of the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye have been shot dead, with several others seriously wounded. A peaceful protest by the students have result from changes in the school policies, unknowingly to the angry students, the V.C Prof. Saburi and Gov. Of Ogun state Sen. Ibikunle Amosun have invited armed men who shoot without consideration. Meanwhile (as at time of report), several students were reported to be scattered all over the bush of Ago Iwoye in bid to save their precious life.
