NECO Reschedules Exams

Information reaching us from a reliable source, says that the National Examination Council, NECO has re-scheduled some of the examinations in the ongoing NECO SSCE.
One of the subjects postponed is Mathematics which was earlier scheduled to hold yesterday, Monday 23rd June, 2014, will now hold on Monday 7th July,2014.
Other subjects that were rescheduled includes: Biology now to be written on 8th of July,2014 and Economics on 9th July.
Reasons for this is said to be linked to leakage of the exam questions.

NECO Releases June/July 2013 Examination results

This is to inform all candidates who participated in the National Examinations Council, NECO 2013 June/July internal examination that their results have been released.
Announcing this year’s school based examination in Minna, the Registrar and the Chief Executive of the Council, Professor Promise Okpala said that 681,507 candidates representing 66.63 per cent made credit pass and above in English Language while 668,314 candidates or 65.50 percent recorded same in Mathematics. In Biology 66.88 percent had credit and above, 66.68 per cent of the candidates that wrote Physics and 66.41 percent Chemistry candidates equally made credit pass and above.
The NECO boss also said that out of 1,034,263 candidates that sat for the examination which had 128 blind candidates, 998,624 candidates or 96.55 per cent made five passes and above. The 2013 NECO results has been fully uploaded online, and can be accessed directly from the council’s result checking portal.
How to Check 2013 June/July NECO Result:
1. Go to NECO result checking portal
2.Select Examination Type
3.Select Year of Examination
4.Enter your card PIN number.
5.Enter your Examination Number
6.Click on “Check My Result” button to finally see your result.
