FUTO: VC Appoints 67 new officers including deans, HODs, . . .

The Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, FUTO, Prof. Chigozie Cyril Asiabaka, on Friday the 13th of September, 2013, in pursuant to the prevailing governance in the University, appointed new Deans, Directors, Heads of Department/Units and Co-ordinators for a period of one year with effect from July 1, 2013. In a brief remark, the Vice-Chancellor stated that the new appointment was expected to re-jig the administrative machinery of the University in line with the mantra “Quest for Excellence”. He charged the new appointees to discharge their duties with renewed zeal and vigour adding that they should work assiduously with greater commitment to the ideals of the mandate of the University.
